Just Hang On.

Boy oh boy! I got me a sale today. It has been weeks. I'm on cloud 10 right now. Let me tell you something silly. I've had this particular item on my mind to sell but because of its nature I didn't wanna (as I pout and kick an imaginary pebble). And for a reason that makes no sense. I have another version of the same item in my Cafepress store that I've had for yeeeeears. And these items always sell. Not tons but enough where I know they are of interest to others. But waaaay back when, I had the nerve to be frustrated because I wanted to be known for my artwork. So I was always upset that they were the only items that sold. I had in my head that I was deemed a true artist if people purchased what I passionately created from my imagination.

Well those days are done. I even mentioned that in the Facebook group that I'm apart of. That was a couple of weeks ago and what'dya know. A couple of weeks later, if that, I get a sale from the very thing I tried running from. Moral of the story guys is if you want to make money...then make money. I know I've only sold the one but I really do believe more sales from it will come. And because my stubborness was going to prevent me from listing it or anything related to it, I would have missed out. So post ‘em if ya got ‘em!

I hear a lot of "put" or "sell what you know." And I know the career that I had. I know the funny sayings associated with it and I know the pain points of it. So what better way than to have evergreen products stemming from it. It’s obviously okay to put other things in your shop but always guard what you know close as an idea. List it and see how it goes. I'm such a goober some times. A stubborn goober. Ha!
